Our softest yarn, the Merino has superfine fibres that make it incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. This soft PINK shade is a nod to the blossom and gorgeous flowers abundant around the farm through Spring and Summer. Dyed as part of our Spring/Summer 2024 Collection it works beautifully alongside the other colourways including 'Blossom in the Breeze'.
 
From their home within the Dartmoor National Park, our Merino ewes are lovingly raised on our small family farm to produce this amazing super fine fibre which is then spun less than 50miles away in Cornwall. Superfine fibres makes this a wonderful and comfortable fibre against bare skin - a revelation for many!!
 
The yarn has a fabulous elasticity. Skeins are dyed on farm in small batches so each one is unique and there is colour and tone variance between the skeins. The Farm is set in the rolling Devon hills that sit at the foot of the Dartmoor National Park, our small family farm is home to up to 300 sheep of various breeds.
 
Each skein is approximately 100g and 175m. We recommend that all knitters knit a sample tension square to gauge their tension before commencing a project.
