Our softest yarn, the Merino has superfine fibres that make it incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. A popular yarn weight and like all our yarns is 100% British Wool.
 
From their home within the Dartmoor National Park, our Merino ewes are lovingly raised to produce this amazing super fine fibre which is then spun locally (Launceston) to create this amazing yarn. Superfine fibres makes this a wonderful and comfortable fibre against bare skin - a revelation for many!!Each skein is approximately 100g and 175m. The yarn has a fabulous elasticity.
 
We recommend that all knitters knit a sample tension square to gauge their tension before commencing a project.
 
Skeins are dyed on farm in small batches so each one is unique and there is colour and tone variance between the skeins.
